Hylin café on Railway Parade, West Leederville, has thrown its hat into the ring for a small bar licence.
The 30 x seat venue, which only opened last month, has already proved a smash hit with locals. Offering fresh, modern, healthy meals/snacks, and Micrology coffee for the breakfast/lunch services.
Once licensing is approved, Hylin plans on reconfiguring the table/seating space for the afternoon/evening service to cater for up to 60 x standing patrons, and providing tapas/shared plates, with a variety of wines, and craft beer.
Hylin’s name is a play on words on the High Line area of New York, where a disused railway line was transformed into a funky, urban space complete with bars, hotels, and art installations.
Currently, the only other licensed venue options for West Leederville are The Office on Harrogate, and JB O’Reilly’s. So the addition of another small licensed venue to the area would be a bonus for local residents, and office workers alike.
Hylin is located at 178 Railway Parade, West Leederville, WA.
