Sniders Lane Project
One of the great things about Melbourne’s small bar scene, is that a stack of these little gems are hidden away down the city’s tiny back lanes and alleys.
To the uneducated, a lot of these laneways appear somewhat daunting at first. Lined with rubbish bins and graffiti covered walls it’s easy to presume that these are the area’s your parents warned you to steer clear of as a kid.
The reality is, in most cases, the (graffiti) pieces that adorn the alley walls around Melbourne, are legal works of art paid for by the city (or property owners) and implemented by extremely talented, and dedicated, street artists.
Here’s a fantastic example of Sister Bella‘s home lane (Sniders Lane) going through a recent urban beautification process, thanks to some of the world’s best graffiti artists: Cam Scale, Sirum, Kirpy, Sear, Dvate, Does, Deb, Itch and more!
